While doing my returns it says my federal is 3,241 ga is 180 and I owe ala 445 which is cool and all that but when I go to finish it says its 2,976 ??

That $2976 total is the total of all your refunds and amounts owed to everyone combined.

You are due refunds from the IRS and GA for a total amount of $3421, but

You owe AL $445, which nets you $2976.

Be aware that IRS and GA refunds will come separately and that you will have to pay AL separately as well.

You can actually pay the Alabama tax owed online here: https://revenue.alabama.gov/make-a-payment/
