I keep getting an error message when attempting to import my TD Ameritrade account. I noticed that many others are having the same issue on another form and was wondering if others here were also having the same issue. Thanks for any help/.

Try clearing your browser's cache and deleting your cookies -- this will sometimes facilitate your import. See the TurboTax Help articles How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for guidance.

Also, Some folks using the Brave browser...they have to lower or turn off their security, or firewall settings in the Brave browser.
I'm using the actual turbotax desktop version, not through the website.
I remember this being an issue with TurboTax a few years ago, and they had to put it an update. I was wondering if there was any mention of that for this one.
No notice of some update issue for that particular Financial provider.
...but, even if you are using desktop software, this year, it uses a browser to access the Financial provider login.
In fact, in this Community Forum I've had to delete my cookies for the past 24 hr twice now, just today (and I haven't visited any other sites (OK CNN)), to be able to even see the buttons to log into this Community.
Something's changed with the TTX cookies.
Will give it a try when I get home. Thanks. I didn't know that was what it would do.
Clearing the cache worked it seemed, or at least I was able to import Ameritrade.
I am wondering whether you may have transferred your account to Charles Schwab. If that is the case, then you will see your 1099 information on the Schwab website, but will download the file from TD Ameritrade. I did this a few hours ago without difficulty.
My account is similar and I can download the 1099 pdf from Schwab. But failed to import in Desktop TurboTax as of 3/1/2024. Error says no tax info.
If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser.
