What if you get rejected  because it says you are a dependent on someone taxes? How do you resolve?

You will have to print and mail your tax return, it cannot be e-filed.

Although my child was a 18yr old dependent of mine until December 19th when she turned 18 and moved out of the house on her own by the new year she is no longer my dependent and has her own Bill's and expenses. She was even working to support herself when she moved out  so why does she not qualify when we are in a different tax season and I did not get any kind of money for her on my return as a dependent. This makes absolutely NO SENSE AND IS NOT RIGHT BECAUSE SHE CANNOT WORK NOW AND IS STRUGGLING LIKE THE REST OF US!!!

If my adult child age 20 filed an Amended 2019 tax return changing his status from, someone else claiming him to claiming himself, would he be eligible to receive the $1,200 stimulus once the amended return is processed?

If I was not eligible based on 2018 income, but am eligible based on 2019 income, will I get a stimulus check if I filed my 2019 return on April 19th (after many if not most people have already received their chekcs?
