Tax Advantage state efile

It showed $20 to efile a state on turbotax for tax advantage customers but it actually charged me $25. Is this offer not valid this year?

Thank you. I called the Turbotax support and they gave me a link to initiate the refund. This created another set of issues as they revoked my license instead of refunding the state efile charges. Now I cannot use turbotax any more. I called again and after 1 hour of troubleshooting they asked me to purchase again. I am using turbotax since year 2000 and never seen such a big mess. Support is totally ineffective and does not care about customers.

So why doesn't TurboTax fix this problem?   I'm a TT Advantage member, went to file this morning (16 Febr 2025) and it wants to charge me $25 to efile the state return.   It's not an 'Advantage' to waste my time having to call for a refund OF AN ADVERTISED PRICE.   Get your act together!

This may not help me as they have revoked my license when I requested refund of these additional fees. Can you help to restore my license?

I have called support 3 times with no resolution. I have already filed two state efiles and overpaid. I spoke to supervisor and she asked me to buy a new license with no commitment to refund the overcharge on efiles. I have already wasted 3 hours with Turbotax support. I am using turbotax since year 2000 and never had issues with support. Support is not helpful these days so I will just manually file my taxes this time.

The link you suggest is no longer active - but the issue is still not fixed.

 

What should I do? - and I tried to call customer service, that told me that the "issue is fixed".
