Why doesn’t TurboTax stop the process when entering information while filling and it’s showing no refund? This way if you don’t need to file you don’t have to pay your fees especially for seniors on social security. If I knew I didn’t qualify for a refund I would not have used your product and save the processing fees.

Going forward----if Social Security is your only income, you are not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance. Or if you have some other income besides the SS, you might need to file:
You need to file a federal return if half your Social Security plus your other income is
Single or Head of Household $25,000
Married Filing Jointly $32,000
Married Filing Separately $0
And....
Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Having no refund does not necessarily mean that you do not have to file. The filing requirements do not depend on whether you are getting a refund. And there are reasons to file even if you are not required to. TurboTax cannot assume that if there is no refund you do not have to file.
You can go to the following link on the IRS web site to determine whether you are required to file.
