State tax already paid showing double the amount actually paid (or double the mentioned amount on w-2)

Suppose, actual amount paid is 2K and its showing as 4K

The state income tax withheld should be reported when you enter your W-2 on your federal return. Don't enter that amount anywhere else on the return. 

TurboTax will carry over the information to your state return.

To check your entries:

• Login to your account.
• Select Federal from the left menu.
• Select Wages and Income then Income and Expenses.
• Select Edit next to Job(W-2)
• Select Edit next to the W-2 and check the entry in box 17.
