Please see the information below for instructions to locate your refund option:
You can check your refund method selected or change the method selected. As long as you haven't filed yet (or you e-filed, but got rejected), you can change your refund method. Please see the FAQ below for more information:

I am having difficulty changing my return, for Maryland, to request a direct deposit also. Not sure what you mean by "Tax Home" screen. I presume it is the screen that has tabs PERSONAL INFO, FEDERAL TAXES, STATE TAXES REVIEW, and FILE. It displays my federal and state refunds. If I scroll down, I do not see a button for adding another state. At the upper left of the screen, there is a "Tools" option, and its dropdown menu has My tax data, Final Review, Topic List, Attachments, Calculator, Tax Summary, Tax History, and Order History.
Clearly I'm missing something. I would like to change to a direct deposit of my state refund, so I would appreciate any help. In the meantime, I'll search some more.
Thanks.

Found the easy way out. For the State of Maryland, there is an "Information Worksheet." Part VII Direct Deposit Information or Electronic Funds withdrawal allows direct entries into the form boxes for financial institution name, routing number and account number.
Hope someone finds this helpful.

Thank you, Paolooch! Your suggestion also worked for Michigan state return.
Seems like a bug in the app that it's not part of the Step-by-Step.
That worked for Virginia too.
Turbo Tax really needs to address that issue. Their quality has gone down over the last few years.
how do i change to direct deposit on state
You are not able to make changes to your bank account information on your tax return once it has been filed and accepted by the IRS. If your return happens to get rejected, you can update your bank account before re-submitting your return as well as update the issue that caused the rejection.
If you haven't filed yet, you can still add your bank account info for direct deposit.
I am using number but they wo 't accept thmy correct routing and account
State rejects bank routing and account number. Can I mail my state tax file?
You might double-check the banking information that was entered:
1. Enter the routing number from a check, not a deposit slip.
2. Check with the bank to make sure the routing number hasn't changed, or that a specific routing number is used for your type of account.
If the above isn't the case, you can switch from e-file to mailing by following the instructions here.
To clarify a bit further -
Switch from Step-by-Step to Forms Mode.
Scroll down the Forms in My Return list to your state return.
Right after the State-1040 form, there should be Info Worksheet. Click.
In Part VII you have the options (yes/no) to select -
Use direct deposit for any state refund
Use direct debit for state tax payment
Use direct deposit for any city tax refund
Use direct debit for city tax due
Just below, you will enter the bank info.
You are commenting on a thread from last year. I wanted to be sure you were able to complete this in Turbo Tax or were you commenting to help others? @WhollyTerriers
I was commenting. This thread eventually got me what I needed, but I thought a bit of clarification might be useful to others.
