State Drivers License Number

TurboTax 2023 Desk Top version shows the blank on the form, but will not let me type anything into the State Driver's License Number field for Virginia.

If I'm not mistaken, you can completely skip the state driver's license screen(s) altogether.  I've efiled both a desktop and online return for 2024, and I was able to skip the screens.

You are correct, not needed for Federal returns, and not state in most states.

Even though  you can't fill it out in the blank provided on the worksheet form, Turbo Tax does prompt you for it when you actually submit the tax return.
