Starting a new online return, used CD product last year. Don't want to input family, just import from last year, they're already in there. But no option to import yet?

Can I somehow start my new return by just importing? I have tried to follow the KB article on how to import from CD product but there is no tools menu yet, does that mean you have to type all this redundant stuff that's already in last year's return, before the menus will even show up?

You can transfer the 2020 tax file to your new 2021 return, but you have to do it at the very beginning before you enter any new 2021 data at all.   if you already started entering data, clear it and start over.
