You were not in the correct product that is part of the TurboTax IRS Free File Program. That IRS Free File Program uses a special website. You appear to have used regular Online Deluxe. It would have been optimal if you had asked this question prior to actually paying when you noticed you were going to be charged, and you could have been steered to the correct product.
You can discuss your situation with TurboTax Support and tell them you were eligible for the TurboTax IRS Free File Program and ended up in the wrong product. I don't know what they will do or say, but it can't hurt to try.
