Yes, you need to claim this self-employed income on your tax return on a Schedule C.
You have to file an income tax return if your net earnings from self-employment were $400 or more. If your net earnings from self-employment were less than $400, you still have to file an income tax return if you meet any other filing requirements (Did you have another job or source of income?).
After you have entered all of your self-employed income, the program will ask if you have any business expenses that you can deduct.
No 1099-NEC or 1099-K was received and I'm unable to properly input any mileage or gas claims since I was not prepare for the info. So I'm not sure if I need to file a claim since the earnings was only $51.41 for the year.
I have my earnings statements and a .csv file with pick up locations but no delivery locations so unable to properly track mileage. So I really don't know how to input my Earnings and properly do a claim since it's so low.
Since your earnings are only $51.41, there is no self-employment tax for Medicare and Social Security. You only need to include the income in your tax return.
