Your question is a legal one that can't or shouldn't be answered in this forum. You and your spouse should consult with the bankruptcy attorney representing the case for sound legal advice on this. No two bankruptcies are ever the same, so there is no 'general' answer I can give you, only advice.  The representing attorney is your best source to consult with for reliable legal advice on your important question.
