saving my return

Until 2/9/20 my TurboTax data files were being saved to my "L:" external drive. For a week or so each time I was finished with a session I would click "exit" and when given the option to save I clicked YES.

Yesterday I kept getting an error (with a 6 digit code). I called TT support and we "experimented", I tried saving my TT data file to my boot drive's c: root directory, the file wound up in C:\users\(my_name)\ subdirectory , but it WAS properly saved; I also saved as a pdf (which wound up) in the same directory as the main data file.

Now TT won't let me save to L:, changing file names does not help.

There must be some "setup" file that needs TWEAKING

PS: L: has 500GB of FREE space.
