Issue turned out to be how my state taxes were listed on the W2. There was the regular state tax then another amount on a second line with no state or employer identified... turns out it was a new NJ Family Leave tax... TT support told me to combine the amounts and list them on the one line...that worked the return was accepted, fed and state.
Thanks
Not sure if you have done this already, but you may want to make sure you are deleting the form from the actual return and not just the program itself and then try to re-enter the W-2. If that does not work and you continue to get rejected, the only other option would be to print and mail the return.

Hi.
Thanks for the posting. I am using the Turbo tax for the first time and this happened.
I thought it had to do with my IRS efile that was rejected. I deleted my IRS e-file and refiled TT three times and "duplicate W2 issue" happened.
Thank God, I am a NJ resident also. My W2 showed the same State tax lines including the "FLI". I just added both lines taxes and re-filed. I hope this takes care of it. TT should catch this or treat it as a fix item. I spent over 4 hours wrestling with this issue.
Thank you for your posting. I hope this fixes and I can get to bed.
Happy to hear your issue seems to be resolved. If you need further assistance, please
see the following information here for more details.
Thank you. It DID work!
My W2 automatic uploading option guess isn't available for Paycheckflex.
Anyway, I learned something new.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Samantha, new Turbo user!
