I just made entries for 2021. I'll print them out and change the date. Still won't be able to import into TT though
I agree. Mint is not an option. I already use quicken which I am not happy about the annual charge now. Plus it glitches. I stopped my subscription and will just had download things rather than one update.
I did find an app from the Salvation Army. Their website lists the high and low costs of various items. It might be worth looking at it. I just downloaded the app. It’s not very good and doesn’t itemize things. But perhaps copying their information to a spreadsheet might work.
When I log into my account today (7/2/22), the blue "add" and "edit" options are not there. I cannot add entries. Very disappointed since this was supposed to work until October 18.
You can still add 2021 contributions however the 2022 tab is no longer functional since the program will be discontinued this October.

There does not seem to be much utility to a program with no import function and also programs where donations cannot be entered in the tax year in which they are made.
Can you please add something like itsdeductible in mint or just no stop itsdeductible!!!
The reason people were not using it in the past two years was because places were not taking donations because of Covid. Not they are open and we really need this website/app!

No one who has authority or responsibility for the product is reading this board, @Kmora401.
You can send an email or write a letter, though.

Agree with comment above - 2022 entries are now closed, perhaps to those who had not already started entering data.
Bad decision, Intuit!
You can still add new entries under 2021 and mark them in your file as 2022 together with your dated receipt from the donee organization. Just printout or export a PDF of your information right away so you don't lose it come October.
Hello, I used the NerdWallet website to look at various features of the different tax prep software and I like the TaxAct best for doing Capital Gains, and Schedule C and it looks like there is a charity item value feature. If you go through NerdWallet you can get a 25% discount. Only the 2021 version is available so I imagine that in the Fall, I will be able to buy it for $94. I just canceled my TurboTax Advantage subscription which costs $121.11 and when asked why I said the 'itsdeductible" feature was canceled. When asked what was the TT best feature I wrote "itsdeductible".
Hello,
I just got this response from the CEO of TurboTax that indicated they are resuming itsdeductible. I canceled my TT Advantage subscription and will see how it goes and make my decision to return to
Dear Valued Customer,
We heard your feedback on ItsDeductible and we listened!
We want to thank you for the feedback you provided over the past several weeks about our plans to discontinue ItsDeductible. We are pleased to hear how much the tool means to so many of you. Based on your feedback, we are happy to share that we have revised our decision and will continue to support ItsDeductible next year.
Your account and the data in it will continue to be available without interruption. You can sign in and add any new donations for the tax year 2022 at any time.
Thank you again for being a loyal ItsDeductible customer,
Intuit's Office of the President
I was just notified that they have reinstated itsdeductible, but my earlier entries this year had been erased so no I have to reenter 6 months' worth of items and money donations. Arggh!
I had canceled my TT Advantage subscription and was planning to go with TaxAct. Now I will wait until fall to see if I will return to TT.
Thanks to this thread I got the good news that Intuit reconsidered and re-enabled ItsDeductible. Yea!
Just tried and all my previous entries are still there and I was able to update.
That's great news.
