1099-R There is no Payers Federal ID number, only hash marks.

I have my 1099-R for the payment I received from my ESOP account.  It only has hash marks where the Payers Federal ID should be. Turbo Tax won't let me skip entering it.

You will need to get a new copy of your form 1099-R or mail your tax return. You cannot e-file without a federal ID number.

On the Form 1099-R that you received, the Payer's TIN must be entered on the form.  If it is not then you have to contact the payer of the income and get a corrected Form 1099-R.
