You will have to enter three (3) Form 1099-MISCs to report the information on the one (1) 1099-MISC you received - one 1099-MISC for each box of reported income (2, 3 and 7).
Why do you have to do this?
Each type of income on a Form 1099-MISC requires a different set of interview questions and can generate different tax forms (e.g. Box 1, Rents, generates a Schedule E, Box 7, Non-employee compensation, can generate a Schedule C).
Since most 1099-MISCs only report one type of income, this is not usually a problem. When they do report more than one type of income, the program needs to enter each type on a separate 1099-MISC, so each will generate the correct set of questions and tax forms

Hello, I have a follow-up question to the answer provided... If I am filling out multiple 1099-misc and have entries in box 2 & 3. Do I fill out each 1099-misc with the same exact information minus all but one of the entries?
For example, my 1099-misc has entries in box 16, 17, & 18. Do I make one 1099-misc with boxes 2, 16, 17, 18 and then one 1099-misc for boxes 3, 16, 17, 18?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance for your clarification.
No, Boxes 16, 17 and 18 have your state information. Box 18 should match the income reported on the 1099-MISC.
For example, If box 2 shows $1,500, Then Box 18 should match.
If there are multiple states listed, you may be able to determine the state by matching box 18 to the income source.
Also, if there are multiple states, only the current state has to be entered.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I do need some clarification.
Hypothetically, say that I have the original 1099-Misc that was sent to me with $100 in box 2, and $50 in box 3. Combined, that is a total of $150 which shows up in box 18 (on the original 1099-misc).
If I create a second 1099-misc to account for the $50 in box 3 (as previously discussed), do I then enter $50 in box 18 for that second 1099-misc? In other words, I would have $50 in box 3 & 18? Also, am I understanding that I leave boxes 16 and 17 completely blank on the second 1099-misc?
The reason that I am asking is because I am not sure how the IRS will look at the situation if I change the amounts that have been reported to them on the original 1099-misc.
If I am understanding correctly... one 1099-misc will be $100 in boxes 2 & 18, plus the original values in box 16 & 17.
The second 1099-misc will show $50 in boxes 3 & 18, but nothing in boxes 16 & 17?.
I hope that makes sense. Thank you for your help and patience!
I just tried your situation and it went through review for me as one form with your boxes listed. Many forms don't have anything below box 3. If you need to make it two forms, you only want the box 16 state tax on one form. Box 17 and box 18 should match the numbers you are using up top. You can easily split it up into two.
For example:
Misc 1
Box 2 $100, box 16 state tax $xx, box 17 state YY, box 18 $100
Misc 2
Box 3 $150, box 16 state tax blank $xx, box 17 state YY, box 18 $50
