When will form 8582 be ready?

As of 02/18/22 I am waiting for update for 8582 in South Carolina.  Any idea when it will be final?

I received an email from TT that the Virginia form was ready for download. Told me to open TT cdversion and download the 8582.  Tried several times today to no avail.

I received several emails that Form 8582 is ready, when I go to install the updates I get a message that my software is up to date, which unfortunately is not true.  I'm in Massachusetts.

The same happened to me.  I am waiting for the VA form, received an email from TT saying it was ready and to update the software but every time I check my software is up to date and the form is not.

check here for SC.    South Carolina Individual Forms Availability (intuit.com)

Says March 3rd for SC, but VA is listed as available and received email to that effect.  No dice.

Same here in VA - I have been waited 3 weeks for this Form 8582. 

Today got an email saying it was ready and have updated TT.

This Form IS in there for the FED.   But under the State of VA it says DO NOT FILE, and still comes up as an error.

When you run Update, it says the Forms are all up to date - it is Feb 18m 4:52pm EST

PLEASE GET THIS FIXED!

I'm in MA, not MD and am having the same issue.  I notice if I skip to the File tab it does offer to file the state return, but am concerned that if it's missing this form then it will be rejected.

TURBOTAX - Can the return be submitted since it sounds like it is a software glitch saying the form is not available, but it actually is...??

So I just tried to bi-pass it and file as it looked like I could, but it stopped the transaction saying it was missing the form.  HELP!

FIX THIS FORM IMMEDIATELY VIRGINIA STATE TAXES. I AM TIRED OF WAITING GET YOUR STUFF STRAIGHT IF NOT I'LL START USING ANOTHER SOFTWARE PACKAGE.

I have been following this for a while now and my state tax filing (Md.) is also on hold because of the 8582 error.  It is going on 10 years for my using this product and I am very disappointed that there has been no feedback provided by Intuit. Why can't we be provided a definite date for the release/update/fix?

So I just got off the phone with someone from Turbotax and they said form 8582 will be available for Mass on 2/24.  Hope so..   Anyone else waiting might want to give them a call to see when your state's form might be available.

seems like they are just dragging it out to see if they can fix the glitch.  VA forms says it’s available.  Then it got changed to available soon.  Crazy thing is, both TurboTax AND the IRS says it’s available.
