When will form 8582 be ready?

I tried to file my federal and state taxes (Massachusetts). The federal went thru and was accepted but my Massachusetts taxes I could not file as I get this message when reviewing my return:

 This form is used in my Federal Tax return without issue. I already paid for my state to be e-filed!!! What now Turbo Tax?????

According to the state form availability list, form 8582 is slated to be finalized on 2/24/22 for mail in only as e-file is not supported. The Turbo Tax preparation fee is the same whether you e-file or physically mail your return. If you have further questions surrounding this concern, please reach out to Turbo Tax support.

so it's been 2 weeks and the issue is still not resolved, so how much longer do we have to wait, Turbotax is beginning to look unreliable honestly.

Still can’t file my Maryland State return. Any updates when Form 8582 will be ready to file? Is there any way to file my state return another way without losing all of my information?

I found 8582 will be ready Feb 17 for Virginia.   Will it be available for efile after downloading update????

They fixed the MD problem with form 8582 for the PC CD version last Wednesday. I iFiled both returns last Thursday. Both federal and MD state returns were accepted. Per MD state website, my state return was processed and the refund approved. Waiting on feds to finish processing and approve that refund.

Just make sure you’ve installed the latest updates to TT software. (I may still switch to H&R Block software for my 2022 returns.)

Still waiting to be able to file for MD, on phone, all morning, and the person I spoke to had no idea about it. She barely even knew what the form was for.

the online version is still the way it is. not fixed yet. I'm really pissed with Turbo tax right now. already submitted federal almost 2 weeks ago but am still stuck with MD state on this 8582. Even TurboTax customer service is clueless about this. Contemplated going to buy the online version yesternight but felt I should wait a bit. or how else am I supposed to go and pay another $120 after being charged for the online version?

Turbotax announced yesterday that 8582 Form will not be available for efile for online versions. You must separate your Fed & State returns; e-file your Fed return and then mail your State return.

That's interesting as it says available on their chart and the specialist I spoke to this morning never mentioned it when we were attempting to troubleshoot.

Unfortunately, TurboTax software wouldn't even let one print the completed state returns. that's the frustrating part of the whole drama
