The Form 3800 is scheduled to be available today but I suggest waiting until Friday for the updates, as well.
What updates? I've been waiting for one form (3800) only, for more than a month. How long can this go on?
There are 2 hours left in the business day on the West Coast, and form 3800 is not available yet. What's the ETA, please?
The form has been made available to me and I can move forward
Where? How? It still shows as not available for me with no updates available for the app.
This is simply gross incompetence, extreme mismanagement, and shabby customer relations. I just had two very pathetic customer service calls with Intuit telephone reps about this.
Intuit is now saying they don't know when form 3800 will be ready, after making everyone wait months for it, falsely promising it would be ready on several occasionas, and now vaguely promising to let us know when it will be ready, with zero explanation of the delay.
So Intuit pretends to provide a finished product they actually don't provide, repeatedly falsely promises to provide the product on a series of dates that end up being incorrect, and now doesn't know when the promised software will be complete.
If form 3800 is not finalized by the end of the day today, I will be requesting a refund and never using TurboTax again. I've used it for 23 years, but this will be the last time, and I will recommend on every social media platform that none of my friends or associates ever use it.
@problemswithTT The customer service phone reps have informed me that you are lying. They say that Federal Form 3800 is not yet available at all to anyone, either online or on desktop.
Either explain yourself or delete your statement.
I just submitted my taxes and it was accepted. It was available around 7pm ET I am on the east coast.
Thank you @problemswithTT
If you are telling the truth, then Intuit has regional software development problems, and the phone reps have to lie about the situation to customers.
But I'm still surprised that no one else in this forum has mentioned that they were able to obtain Federal Form 3800 and file it with TurboTax. Are you the only person in the country using TurboTax who has gotten the form?
BTW, neither of the phone reps I spoke with is aware of this forum or its contents. And apparently Intuit doesn't moderate, intervene, or explain here. That renders this forum about as useful as shouting into the wind.
I am on TurboTax business online. I think Cynthiad66 works for TurboTax.
@Cynthiad66 Do you work for TurboTax?
We're able to file now.
I'm actually able to file now. Form 3800 is finally ready and included with the latest update of TurboTax.
It would have been far less aggravating had the Intuit development department told the telephone reps that the form would in fact be available by the end of the day today.
I don't know if this forum is monitored but it would have been nice to hear from ANYONE who works for the company, when so many customers were experiencing great inconvenience and distress. Frankly, I will add this: if ANYONE from Intuit has anything to say about the unprofessional manner in which the company handled this problem, it's not too late. You know where to reach us.
My 2023 keeps saying general business credits is still not available. When will it be avaialble
You either need to update the desktop software with the online update function (available under the menus), or refresh your browser.
Form 3800 did become available last week.
