What services does TurboTax Full Service Provide?

1. Can you choose to have a CPA work with you vs. an EA, if your tax situation is complicated? 

2. Can TurboTax Full Service review previous year filings to make sure they are accurate?

3. Does TurboTax Full Service file taxes for Federal, and State? Also some local cities have extra taxes do they handle that?

4. Do they have a limit on how many hours and when they can work with you? How easy is to contact TurboTax if your return takes multiple hours? 

5. Do you upload all your investment docs., and they automatically fill this out for "Full Service" ?

6. Does the service handle complicated rental house situations like a 1031 exchanges?  

7. Does the service handle advanced investing trades like options? Coverdell withdrawals etc.?

What is TurboTax Live Full Service?

In TurboTax Live Full Service, a dedicated tax expert will prepare, sign, file, and guarantee your tax return for you.

Once your tax expert receives all tax documents and info from you, they will prepare the return with you on the phone. Complex returns may take longer to complete. Your tax expert will give you next steps based on your situation.

When you apply to use Full Service you will fill out a questionnaire with detailed questions about your tax situation.  Then the Full Service team will determine if they can prepare your return or if you have a situation that is out of scope for their service.  If you are accepted, the team will determine which expert will prepare your return.  Time required and ease of contact will depend on your individual return as well as the Full Service team's resources.
