What if my son filed his taxes before I did and mistakenly didn't check he can be claimed as a dependent? Can I still claim him somehow cuz it's rejecting my return?

Thank you for your response.  on the 1040-X form, do i fill out the first page and then in Part II on the second explain what happened?

On 1040x I don't see where I can check a box that says yes someone can claim me as a dependent
