There seems to be a bug with Turbo tax that is preventing the download of CT forms. Unfortunately their IT folks can’t figure it out.
You can file the federal return with no issues in TT. You are better off filing the CT return through the state of CT DRS - department of revenue services. They have the updated forms. I filed my son’s CT tax with them.

I am having this issue as well. I have tried everything I could think of to resolve it to no avail.
Tomorrow I am going to try and reinstall TT on a different computer and see if it has the same issue.
It won’t even let me file my federal return. When I try to file it TT just stops responding.
This is so frustrating.
I'm using Deluxe. I did file my Federal , but I'm just going to file my state through the CT state site this weekend and be done with it. Seems like TT dropped the ball on this and isn't going to resolve this issue!!!
As of 2/5/25 I am still showing CT forms not available. Not sure what is happening. Spent all day, literally, on the phone with TT. Been a long time user and am rethinking using again
IT IS FEBRUARY 6TH AND CT FORMS STILL NOT READEY WHAT HAPPEN turbo tax
I show all forms are available.
You can try these steps to resolve if you are using the online version:
I downloaded CT forms - entered information - last week, but it says I need to wait for it to be updated before I can submit it or even print what i have. I got email indicating that it was ready to download, but I still have the same issue. When will Turbo Tax fix their issue with CT forms.
Do you have any of the unsupported forms listed on the forms availability?
Use this link to reference when your tax forms will be available. You can search by TurboTax Product and for IRS and State-Specific Forms.
Catina:
The link to which you refer says CT 1040 is available. But when you try to update TT desktop you get a message saying it is NOT available. That is the whole problem that people are talking about here. Turbo tax reps do not seem to understand the issue, or they have no answer. State forms cannot be downloaded manually, according to TT.
UPDATE 2/5/2025
I am using DELUXE
I have installed TT on two different computers.
Windows 10 PRO machine is the one saying the CT 1040 form will be ready soon. Nothing I have tried to do will resolve this issue.
Windows 11 HOME machine actually downloaded the CT 1040 form and I was able to finish state taxes. HOWEVER, when I go to eFile TT software locks up and gives me the not responding message. But I know for sure the CT 1040 form downloaded.
Another issue to resolve.
I just tried to get the latest updates - but I still get the message
Your Connecticut return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet. then is says Notify me when my forms are ready. so I click on this, enter my email and I get the message that the forms are ready. but after downloading the forms, I still get the same message
Can you try this and let me know if this works for you?

[Edited 2.5.25 11:50am PST] @steverp @Itzlegend @decolliber I had the wrong link
Hi Catina.
A lot of folks posting in this thread are having issues downloading the CT 1040 form. Tech folks at TT have been contacted regarding the bug to no avail.
Can someone at TT install the software in a computer running Windows 10 and also Windows 11 and test downloading CT forms?
I was able to file federal and state on a laptop running Windows 11. In all the years I have been using TT I have never run in a situation like this. It is maddening that the tech folks can’t figure out the issue.
Regards
