Been seeing multiple issues with the QMID code for the AC/Heat Pump energy credit. When using TurboTax online The Code I7Q6 does not work which is the official QMID code posted by Daikin directly and using the full Pin also will not work.

It works using the TurboTax online editions.
You need to wait for the Form 5695 to be finalized for the desktop editions. Should be either Wednesday or Thursday, 01/28 or 01/29.
I am using the online edition not the Desktop. While I can place I7Q6 into the field. It will error out in the finalization review after paying my fee of course and will not allow me to e-file only mail unless the field is updated accordingly. The online edition will not accept the code as is.
Repeated loop unable to move forward.

QMID code for heat pump
Tax credit for heat pump
Adding the credit is one thing. What I am referring to is when you are finalizing federal or trying to submit the return. The credit will continue to sit in the needs review or must be mailed for submission.
@CRom Once you have gone through the Review, keep the QMID code, then just Continue past the Review section. You will get to the section to file your tax return and the code will remain on the Form 5695.
It will not allow for an e-file. It still requires the review to be completed properly. The only option is to mail it in. The software needs to be fixed.
@CRom Will report this particular issue to the TurboTax Moderators. You should be able to e-file with this QMID code on the Form 5695
@DoninGA is there an ETA on when this will be fixed? I am seeing the same issue after i paid that i can not e-file due to this loop.
Hello, I am having the same issue. I would like to receive notice when this issue is fixed, please. @SuziM
Hi @user17695549032
You've been added to the list for notifications. Thanks!
I have the same issues as others regarding QMID for Daikin. Call to support is worthless - call drops. However, I received an email stating case was closed. I never even got to speak to anyone. I have been a Turbo Tax customer for years, but this experience has been more than just an inconvenience. It is quite concerning that the support on this known issue is so poor. We are trusting our tax returns to this inept provider?
