TurboTax does not accept special characters when logging in to an account to import data into TurboTax. Anyone aware when or if TT will correct this issue?

You now have to change your password on the financial website and omit any special characters.

Wells Fargo Advisors. I checked with them (WFA) and was suspicious when they first replied that TT doesn't accept special characters. They elevated the issue and I received a reply verifying the problem. I changed passwords at WFA to omit the special characters and it worked. Seems like a TT problem.

Just as a follow up, I’ve been using TT for many years and have not experienced this problem before.
