Attempting to update/enter my Personal Property taxes and the product refuses to let me enter. Pop up says review last topic, so went through step by step guidance and again, hit the same bug each and every time. Program refuses to allow me to enter my Personal Property Taxes paid in 2024.

The issue has been resolved and you should be able to proceed now.
Make sure your program is updated. This can be done by logging into your desktop product. Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.
If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.
Hi,
Unfortunately it isn't fixed, and I'm current on updates, etc. Thank you for suggesting it may have been addressed, looks like Intuit is having a real challenge this year, worse than the typical field testing cycle of January and February from the past. I've been a customer since 1993, so that's a rather large 'sample size'. :(
This issue has not been resolved. I had the same problem with the Personal Property Tax line. I did the update, restarted TurboTax and the problem is still there. Never had this problem with TurboTax before.
I am getting the same, "looks like we hit a snag" when trying to file my CA and fed taxes. Software is up to date. Help.
These are caused by a networking disconnect even when using the Desktop Product.
Check to make sure you have a good, strong internet connection. If you are using a vpn, you might need to temporarily disconnect it. Same with anti-virus software.
This was NOT resolved. On April 15 I kept getting this so filed for an extension. Today I'm trying to efile my California taxes and I'm STILL GETTING IT.
I've been your customer for maybe 10 years, but will never use TT again. And I have told all my friends and posted this on my Facebook and yours.
It's unconscionable that you let this continue PAST the filing deadline when you knew about it at least as early as February.
ALSO -- the "we hit a snag" screen will not disappear. I have to restart TT to get rid of it and PRINT MY CA return to mail it.
TT has lost its status as the go-to tax prep software. You are losing MANY longtime customers over this.
AND THEN I went to quit and restart and it won't let me quit since I haven't responded to the pop-up. Where the only option is "try again." My anger at TT is GROWING.
Please call TurboTax Customer service. Here is a link: Turbo Tax Customer Service
Incorrect.
As a career Technology person who's primary focus has been creating and building the largest networks (SPs, CSPs, etc.) in the world, I'd like to help you understand that this suggestion of networking instabilities as the problem is incorrect. Without even knowing what connectivity I have, to suggest it as a possible cause rather than stating it like a fact would be better serving to the community on this forum. I know you just want to help.
My WAN connection is a 1G Fiber service, there are data centers all around me within a few miles and no construction events, etc. in progress, I'm sure you can understand.
I'll be calling Intuit, they have coding error(s) and should address them by using a tool like Cursor (AI tool), or at least do both SIT and System testing since it's obvious they are going way to fast to conduct peer-peer QA checks. Sadly I did not get benefit of the program or their CS team.
