Turbo tax won’t accept my credit card payment. I keep getting error messages. Any advice?

When the program takes you to the Turbo Tax Account sign in DON'T. Instead, check on the bottom in the tiny ink that says continue as guest or some such thing. That part worked for me after 4 frustrating hours of rejection

Check to make sure, where it asks you to enter credit card, name and address info, that you have NO periods or commas.  The system will not unlock the submit button if you have special characters. For example, John M. Doe needs to be entered as John M Doe.  or 123 S.E. Anywhere St. needs to be 123 SE Anywhere St

The billing address on your credit card and the mailing address on your tax return have to match or you will get an error for paying with a credit card.

If they are not the same then change your mailing address to your billing address.  Click on My Info on the left side of the screen.  Edit you mailing address and Continue.  Go back to the File section to make your payment.

After the payment has been approved, go back to My Info and change the address back to the original.
