Your investment income does not go on Schedule C. It is not self-employment income, it is investment income. Enter the 1099-B (or DIV or dividends) and it will flow to the correct forms and schedules.

My W2 was corrected from showing all income to DC to showing income between DC and VA after a move during 2024. If total income on W2 did not change, do I need to refile Federal taxes?
