This is my very first tax filing and the IRS continues to reject my return for entering $0 for the 2023 AGI. I didn't file in 2023. Why can't they see that?

You need to select Did Not File in 2023 and then the AGI question will not be asked.

If you didn't file in 2023, enter 0 as your AGI.
