There used to be a running total that showed whether you were obtaining a refund or you owed taxes while you were completing your tax return; why is it no longer visible?

The box that showed your running totals (a refund or tax owe position) no longer shows?  Is there a setting or did Turbo Tax remove this feature?

I'm not sure that works...are you saying just click the less than symbol while in the system?

I started in a new test account ~30 min ago,,,,...you do have to get some income $$ entered, after a bunch of annoying Q&A s before the < or > show up near the upper left.   Even after I entered my first income...I was prompted to upgrade yet again...and had to pass thru those before the refund $$ showed up.

When I started my W2 income almost like 2 - 3 weeks back, it was showing the running total of refund/ or taxes owe, but not any more, I have bunch of numbers already entered but nothing shows up for running total or < or > to click on upper left corner (next to the brown color navigation bar with Turbo Tax logo in their on top) I mean I do not see anything to click on to make the running total appear again, and I am wages and income page with numbers already entered on this page?

What should I do? Am I looking at wrong place or missing something? Why everything has to be so difficult with Turbo Tax only?

Click < or > to get the refund monitor to appear.  You might also have to toggle off that “race mode” or click Review.

As I mentioned earlier that I am on Wages and Income page in TT online and I DO NOT SEE < or > anywhere to click on?

Also, where is this "race mode" I can find inside the TT online to switch off? I never turned it ON by myself.

Look up at the top of your screen.    Or try clicking on the word "Review."

I found it myself after spending 2 minutes on this on how to get the refund monitor back, btw there was NO < or > for me, so must be some bug worth checking.

but the real solution is Click on Review option from the left side navigation bar where we see the Federal option, when I clicked on Review option, the refund/ tax owe monitor cam back on upper left corner and now it is there. Now it also shows < or > as well which was not earlier (it was completely BLANK, WHITE AREA)

I reconfirmed that refund monitor comes back even after logout and login so this click on Review is the best solution so far.

Please note that user can jump back to Federal options as needed and the refund monitor is still there.
