The IRS has not taken my bank payment. How can I make sure my payment information is correct?

Same here, accepted on 4/3 still haven't taken the payment.

I filed on 4th April and set my withdrawn date to 04/06. IRS has not withdrawn the money yet. I see people had already called to check. I will just wait for another week.

It can take some time for the IRS to fully process your return, after which they will process your payment, typically close to the date that you specify when you file your return.  If you didn't specify a date, they generally process the payment on the due date of the return, which will be May 17, 2021.

Same for me.  Filed and accepted on 4/9/2021.  I just called them and it said our returned is not processed yet? Therefore the payment is not processed?  Last year when I filed and paid, the money came out the next day.   I just hope that they are just delayed in processing like everyone is saying.

Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about your payment, but please wait 7 to 10 days after your return was accepted before calling.

You might verify in your tax documents the date you selected for withdrawal (you may have to save ALL worksheets to see this information). The direct debit information will be listed in the Federal Information worksheet. 

Note: Often payment is not withdrawn until after your return is processed. As long as your direct debit date is on or before May 17, 2021, you are good.

Same here. Filed and accpeted 4 April. Requested withdrawel for same date, as of today no withdrawel yet. They normally take it the next day after filing. I also called the IRS payment line and they had no info. It is so weird. Backed up or not the IRS always take their money.

My return was accepted on 3/26/2021 and the IRS debited my account today, 04/19/2021. So for those who are waiting anxiously, I would suggest giving it a few more days.

If the IRS has not yet taken your payment, please post the date they Accepted your return (per the email you got from TurboTax) and today's date (the date you're posting). The IRS accepted my return on April 7th; as of April 19th, no attempt to debit my bank. But the State of Maryland took their money from that account on April 12th.

Accepted April 8 and now April 19.  I chose 4/8 for payment and payment has not been taken.

My taxes (filed through Turbotax) were accepted on April 13th, for the last few years IRS used to deduct my account within 2 days of the payment date; this year even after 7 working days, they have not withdrawn the money. I checked my payment information and all is correct.

Often payment is not withdrawn until after your return is processed. As long as your direct debit date is on or before May 17, 2021, you are good. The IRS is overloaded with recent law changes and all anyone can do is wait until the IRS completes the processing.
