I live in outside the US.
My money people have my address listed as a foreign country address. ( Called and verified)
Turbo has my info showing the address correctly. Tax form address are incorrect.
32 Bui
TPHCM
Vietnam
In transferring tax forms, address became. STREET 32 Bui CITY Vietnam.
In review steps, state and/or zip code is required. Only the required field can be edited.
I can change the city name, or add Vietnam as a foreign country.
Turbo Tax people viewed my screen, recognized problem could not find a resolution. Except Clear All and enter everything manually.
Is there a way to just get the address recognized as being in a foreign country.

Looks like it is the information from your Form 1099-DIV. To avoid the error message, I would suggest you report it under Other Income so that you will be able to e-file. Here are the steps: ( As long as it is reported on your Form 1040, that's all IRS cares)

In TurboTax online,
Thanks for the thorough explanation.
I'll give it a try and report back.
You are welcome! Please let me know.
I checked the number of forms with the address error- 15 in total.
All for dividends and capital gains.
Adding them in as other income means- I think-they are reported twice, or I have to delete the tax forms and then there is no paperwork to show the divs/gains. Not deleting the paperwork means the forms are still in the system and the error is still in the forms.
Summary version may be I chickened out.
Considering paying and printing the returns, everything else seems to be in order, and mailing in a paper copy.
Not sure the system will let me do that either, and pretty sure this good/bad idea is another discussion thread if it isn't out there already.
Thanks again for the explanation and step-by-step.
Two ideas:
Thanks for your suggestions.
I'm still confused about whether I could submit my taxes without any of the forms.
Including the forms means getting held up in the Review process.
My workaround was to put in state info as a placeholder only, so if any body checks they will get a weird address:
123 Main St., Japan, California 12335
That made TurboTax happy and I was able to finish the review process and file.
Here's hoping it doesn't make the IRS unhappy.
Another option you have is to submit your return by mail. You would print out all your tax forms and mail them.
Workaround: For the foreign dividends, as long as it is reported under Other Income, line 7a on your Form 1040, you should be fine.
