Supposed to be free... it’s charging me $100. Why?

·        Switch to a lower-priced version of TurboTax Online

·        Remove PLUS More Help & Tools

·        Remove pay-with-your-refund (Refund Processing)

·        Remove Premium Service

·        Remove MAX Benefits

·        Remove Expert Services

·        Remove a state

The online version never worked for me!  Still Turbotax charged me $100!

Seems from all the posts you have made you tried to use the free online then got switched to the downloaded version on which you had a lot of issues ...  https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2348489

For 2021 ... if you qualify ... try to use one of the IRS FREE FILE options available starting in January :

(for 2020 your AGI had to be  $72K or less) they have not posted the 2021 income limits yet  ...  https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free
