Solar tax credit question

I lived in Fresno, CA.

My solar and batteries were install in November 2023. Inspection by the city/County was done on the same month. Solar and battery already on and operating.

Currently waiting for PGE to approve the Permission to Operate, it may be Jan 2024.

Do I claim my solar tax credit for year 2023 or 2024 when I get the permission to operate from Pge?

You will claim the credit in the year that you get permission to operate the solar panels.
