I have the same issue. Has a solution been found?
No solution was found. I finally entered the data myself.
Schwab acknowledges there is problem with Turbotax. Blame it all on Turbotax and they are getting hundreds of calls/day
Never had problems with downloading my tax info from Schwab until theyve inserted the Intuit login. Im getting message that "Login is temporily unavailable. Please try again later or call customer support". Which one, turbotax or Schwab? Called Scwab, turn 3rd party access off then on and still got the same result. Called Turbotax customer support, can't get a real person and kept being referred to some written useless documents. Has anybody been successful dowloading tax info from Schwab thru turbotax? Help!!!!
Small consolation, but if you once get it to work it seems to continue working.
I had a corrected 1099 and thus had to re-download it. I was dreading it but it sailed right through like in previous years. I even had a reason to try it a couple more times and it was fast and fine each time.
I no longer think this is a server traffic issue. I think it's a problem with a "handshake" between the two companies. Schwab understandably enforces security protocols and it seems like TT just barely obeys them. Their new login-to-Intuit approach adds to the complexity. It's hit and (mostly) miss. Each side's programming may seem fine from their own point of view but fixing the problem requires cooperation and that seems lacking.
I have the same problem with TT Premier.
my 3rd party access was already enabled. This is not the solution.
same here using Premier 2021...CS only firm where import didn't work yet this year...always has done so. CS guy (who was helpful) said it is on the TurboTax end, not the CS end.
Today, March 8, the import worked for TurboTax Windows desktop version.
It did not work yesterday.
I do not know if something was fixed, but I did the following:
1) after loading TurboTax, I logged into TurboTax.
2) (a) opened a browser (Microsoft Edge) and logged into TurboTax online
(b) opened a new tab (not a new window) and logged into Schwab.
in Schwab I chose to "remember device".
(c) in Schwab I went to SecurityCenter|ThirdPartyAccessToAccountInformation - Confirmed third party checked
(d) in Schwab I went to SecurityCenter|ThirdPartyAccessToAccountInformation - clicked on "TurboTax" arrow and selected both "current Schwab brokerage accounts" and "Automatically link...."
3) (a) Went back to TurboTax windows desktop application and opened current tax file
(b) selected Schwab for import and followed directions to log in. A screen to accept legal terms came up which I accepted (not reading since not a lot of choice in declining), and import worked.
(c) checked import and totals matched pdf of 1099 I downloaded from Schwab site.
Note on Step 2:
I did this because the TurboTax import popup for Schwab, and comments from other replies, implies a browser is happening behind the scenes to link TurboTax and Schwab.
Edge is my preferred browser in Windows settings. If Edge does not work, it might be due to a different preferred browser (like FireFox, or you have multiple browsers loaded on your PC.
So, if it does not work, open TurboTax and Schwab the same method in all the browsers on your PC.
Completed all the requisite steps and still I am refused access.
No problem last year but I'm really going to hate it if I have to enter everything manually.

Dave,
I went through the steps. No Joy!
From another post, I realized that the hangup was with Java.
My version was six months old.
Updated Java, problem solved. Who knew?
Hope this helps.
I am having the same issue, not even able to see the login userid & password entry field? I do have a newer computer with advanced graphics card and have tried changing the display to lower setting and can see the login fields but can not see what I am typing? have talked to Turbo Tax and Charles Schwab and they both are working to resolve this for over a week now? still not resolved. I am able to down load data from other brokers fine?
might end up using the suggestion listed by manually filling out info for Box A. B, C,D .. for Charles Schwab and send them copies of the 1099 statement.
I've allowed 3rd party access on my Schwab account. When in TurboTax, as I try to do the import from Schwab, I get to the "Let's import your tax info". Then I get a blank page with the words "Bank Login" at the top left corner. Nothing happens, No import. It worked in previous years. Ideas?
I installed Java (Java Run Time), and now I see the Schwab login in TurboTax.
