5 Hours on the phone with Turbo tax & no solution. Spoke with my daughter-in-law who handles taxes in 5 countries including Us. Explained the problem to her & she suggested to print preview & if all information is accurate & updated to file the forms with "DO NOT FILE / FORM NOT FINAL" with note to the IRS explaining the Turbo Tax glitch and declare all information is final, complete and accurate. WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO?
YES, THANK YOU. IT DID UPDATE EVERYTHING, BUT STILL CAN'T FILE BECAUSE TURBO TAX WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS UPDATED FOR THE FINAL PRINT FOR FILING. ALL FORMS HAVE "DO NOT FILE / FORM NOT FINAL" EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING IS READY TO GO. SENDING PAPERS IN AS IS WITH A NOTE TO THE IRS.

I have done it several times, no success. I also tried to disable my firewall, or use a different browser. It crashes specifically at the beginning of the charging/paying point whether for Tax Audit or the State. Any other redirection to the Internet from within, such as help, filing the Federal return, or update of the TT program itself, works.
I will do my state returns manually. It is not feasible to continue. This is the second year TT has problems and was the hassle to deal with. It's been deteriorating for several years now. I gave it a second chance. I think it is the time to use some other competitive program. Very sad. It used to be a decent program...
I would suggest using the link provided below to reach out to TurboTax customer service for assistance:
I spent 3 hours on the phone with one of their "experts" with NO resolution. She even kicked it up to their 2nd tier "experts," again with NO resolution. They finally wanted me to redo everything "online"---RIDICULOUS! I am at a point where I want my money back and will cancel my subscription!
Similar experience. I agree, time to find a better vendor!

I have done this several times with NO success. I use Firefox; I have always used Firefox in years passed with NO, I repeat, NO problem. They wanted me to install Chrome (others have done this with NO success either). That is absurd! Is Intuit now "in bed" with Google???? Was Google's price to Intuit, access to all of our personal information. We might as well send all of our information to China!
To have to jump through all these hoops is RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Time to get our money back from these "robbers" and choose another product.

Same, same, same. But here is a good news: yesterday Microsoft pushed an update for Windows 10 x64 and, as usual, they requested a reboot. After reboot the TurboTax 2019 business quit crashing. Now I am getting the message that my state has not provided forms yet, but that is another story.
Just as the service rep told me two weeks ago, my State and fed updates were applied on the 11th, and I was able to file my taxes on the 12th.
Again, for the "umteenth" time, IT IS NOT MY WEB BROWSER! In a multiple conversations with your "experts," one was 2+ hours, we went through this. I have used Firefox for many years. It worked fine with TT last year. Your expert wanted me to install Chrome on my computer. I refuse to put Google on my computer. Is Intuit now "in bed with Google? I might as well just send all my information to China....
It's frustrating to work with TT software. The customer representatives barely have any knowledge and you can easily spend hours and hours without any viable solution. This is going to be my last year with them since I already purchased the software.
