On my 2018 tax return form 1040 line 7 is blank. So what is my AGI?

Did you have any amounts in lines 1 thru 6 on your 2018 Form 1040?

It is possible that you have adjustments to your income that would reduce it to zero, but it is unlikely. You need to look at the entries on form 1040 and make sure that they agree with your income reported that year. It is possible that you are looking at the wrong tax return.

Trying to file my taxes this year. And in retrieving my previous taxes for my AGI all of the lines are blank.  Line 8 says 12,000 and that's it. What do I do?

If you used TurboTax last year, your prior year AGI should have automatically transferred.  If not, there are several options to use to find that number, including going directly to the IRS to get it sent to you.  Here is a link discussing the other options.

Adjusted gross income (AGI) was reported on line 7 of Form 1040 in 2018. If you are unable to identify this number, you may also try ordering a transcript from the IRS to determine what they had on file for your AGI. It is possible that your AGI was $0 in 2018 but it is unlikely, as this is the dollar amount of income prior to deductions.

Your AGI would be zero (-0-) if there is not an amount on line 7 of your 2018 form 1040.
