To be clear, I know I qualify but am curious about irs websites page to enter direct deposit information. I can't complete the current form because on one option it asks simply: did you owe or pay? I did neither. Even selecting I paid, I would still need to enter the amount, of 0. Does not work, errors out.
I checked the IRS get my money section and it says my payment was sent to be posted on the 15th. But my turbo card app isn't showing any pending transactions. I've also called the number on the card and it doesn't have any deposits pending. How do I find out what's going on?? It sucks not being able to talk to a live person!
The IRS site shows the last 4 digits of my ssn as the acct# that they deposited my money into today. The last 4 digits of my turbocard acct are different. Anyone else seeing this and if so did your money still come to your card?
If I owe tax will I get a stimulus check
Thanks for the link, it told me it didn't have information on my direct deposit. So I guess many of us might be stuck out in the cold for this. Good luck to everyone else
IRS site is showing the same for me. But my card isn't showing any pending transactions.
If there's a garnishment order, the stimulus payment will be intercepted and sent to the state child support agency. What happens next will vary depending on the state, and whether the custodial parent receives public assistance -- it may be passed on the to the custodial parent, or it may be kept by the state to repay itself for previous public assistance
Thx u soo much..Now I hope it doesn't take forever to receive my money😂😂
The new Where My Payment portal is open and active right now!
Someone please help!
According to TurboTax I filled out the "Free Stimulus Registration for non-tax filers" on April 4th and it was sent and accepted by both the Federal and State Tax Agency. Today the IRS launched the Get My Payment tool to check on your stimulus check status and when I enter my information I get "Payment Status Not Available According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time." When I check my refund status on the IRS website it said that my 2019 tax return is Return Received, but hasn't been approved yet. Is this the reason why I haven't gotten my stimulus check yet? Does the 2019 return need to be approved so that the IRS has your info or should they have your info when they received the tax return? When filling out the "Free Stimulus Registration for non-tax filers" on TurboTax I entered direct deposit information. I definitely qualify for the stimulus check.
This is actually what I’m showing as well. Has anyone been able to figure out what it actually means? I’m so stressed out, especially with no one to speak with
The IRSlink to check your status is actually active right now, I received my refund on a TurboTax card and had fees deducted from my refund and the IRS DID NOT have my info I had to submit my actual bank info
According to news outlets the only thing that would prevent or reduce a payment is Child Support arrears
Does your Tax Return have to be Approved before you're able to enter in your info? Right now checking my 2019 Tax Return Status the IRS Received my Tax Return, but it hasn't approved it yet. I'm worried that if they haven't approved it then they won't have any of my info and its already been 10 days since they received my 2019 Tax Return.
