if my 2018 return was rejected and never refiled, and didn't have any income to file in 2019 but I filed a simple return to get the stimulus check and the IRS approved it, am I still eligible for the check? It's not very clear. I keep said "eligible non filers"..

YES, you don't need income to get the stimulus check.

No I asked if I got a email stating the irs accepted my stimulus filing through you guys does that mean they have my direct deposit and all that? So basically I’m good to go and will be getting my stimulus check deposited next week or whenever?

I receive my refund on a TurboTax debit card issued through Green Dot bank will I receive my stimulus check on that same card even if I accepted the advance refund.

I filed taxes in both 2018 and 2019 and was claimed as a dependent in 2018, but was independent in 2019. Will I still receive a stimulus check?

@Jr1997

Since you filed a 2019 return, the IRS will use the information from your 2019 return to receive the stimulus check.  Since you were not a dependent on someone else's tax's return for 2019 you should receive the stimulus check if you qualify.

This is who is eligible for a stimulus payment

The amount you'll receive will depend on your total income in 2019 or 2018. If you qualify, you'll receive one payment. Here's who qualifies:

  • If you're a single US resident and have an adjusted gross income less than $99,000
  • If you file as the head of a household and earn under $146,500
  • If you file jointly without children and earn less than $198,000

How much you'll get as a single taxpayer

A single US resident must have a Social Security number and an AGI under $75,000 to receive the full amount of $1,200. The sum decreases as your AGI goes up. If your adjusted gross income reaches $99,000, you won't be eligible for the stimulus.

I don't have a bank account I used the turbo tax card to get my taxes on. Will the stimulus payment be deposited on the card and if not then how will I receive it?

My husband and I file joint taxes. We owed both 18 and this year. I get ssdi direct deposited each month, but my husband works a regular job.  We qualify for a stimulus package. The only direct deposit information is my ssdi payments. Will our stimulus package come to the account I get my ssdi into? Or will they come separately, mine direct deposit and his through the mail? Or both through the mail?

We can't say for sure, but I assume your payment will come the way your SSi is paid.

Your husband can update his information and add direct deposit if his check has not yet been issued by using the service the IRS is launching next week.

You will need to wait for the Treasury to set up the web portal for you to enter the banking information. If you did not have a refund with Direct Deposit, the IRS does not have your banking information.

"In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail."

See more info here on the Treasury website.
