I disagree. On our 5th return for efile, my daughter's was rejected by IRS for error. We got the TT email and clicked on the link in it to fix error in TT, fixed it, ran checks, went to efile and TT says "already reached 5 limit". 40 minutes on phone with TT rep that could not understand or answer my question. She finally transfered me to someone else after 4 requests on my part and she disconnected me. I called back, same experience with the next 'expert' person. No answer.
I did not go over my 5 efile submissions. I am trying to refile my return after being rejected 2 times and its saying i exceeded my limits. How to fix this and resubmit the same return that was rejected twice?

Not the case for me . Only filed two returns and one was rejected three times, now I can not do my sisters.
Try 'Start a New Return' for your sister's return, and in the Personal Info section, change the phone number.
Use that same phone number in the FILE section when you go to Efile.
If you still have a Rejected return pending, do the same thing before Efiling again.
If you're using TurboTax Online, clear your Cache and Cookies between attemptss.
