I can login to my account on the TurboTax website, but when I try to use the desktop software to login to my keychain, the login fails. The software says it is the same username and password, and I am just pasting it in like I am on the website. I tried typing it on the software login and it still failed. Is this a bug?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
There are no known issues with the process.
In some cases, if you've provided Keychain access to TurboTax, you can go to Applications > Other > Keychain access > Keychains > Login > Category > Passwords > find Intuit or TurboTax and right-click Get Info > Attributes > Show Password.
You'll be prompted for your Mac password, and it'll display the password that you used to encrypt your TurboTax file.
Be aware that this is may not work for all users.
Please refer to the TurboTax Help article How do I access my password protected TurboTax Desktop file if I forgot the password? for more information.

I figured it out. I had to click 'Always Accept', or it would loop through the authentication process continually.
We are happy to see your issue has been resolved. Thank you for sharing your success.
