My Federal return was rejected because of a potential issue with RSU_Sale_Employee_Stock.

My Federal return was rejected because of a potential issue with RSU_Sale_Employee_Stock. I didn't have nor did I sell any employee stock in 2020. However, when I reran Turbotax to address the error, it did not there were a couple of minor errors unrelated to the sale of employee stock that were fixed, and I was able to refile.  I am concerned the issue related to the sale of employee stock may not have been addressed.  Is there anyway to determine if this specific issue was addressed?

Same rejection except I did sell stock options.  I did however find another bug.  If you mistakenly select "T" in you W2, the darn software will NOT recognize the correction and keep asking for the name of the adopted child.

Same issue here. TurboTax sent me an email saying my refund was rejected, but when I open my return to work on it I am told there are no errors. Also, purchased private stock in a non-public company I worked for, but did not sell any of said stock or profit off of it in any way. Following this issues before I re-submit.

Same rejection. No solution so far. There were no errors in my return. Will most likely try filing again and hope the error will resolve. I didn't have any employee stock so have no idea where this is coming from....seems like a bug.

Same issue here. No employee stock, so not sure why this was triggered.

In my case I had connected to Vanguard to fill in my stock sales. These were not employee stock, just common stock. I went back and keyed it manually and refiled. Waiting to see if it was accepted. There was a question that said 'what if you sold employee stock?'. Since I hadn't, I didn't click on this link. Should show the 'yes or no' so that you can choose however it didn't.

It sounds like the issue could be related to 1099-B negative values. I have also provided a FAQ link below that may be of some assistance. If you are still having the same issue after reviewing the FAQ link, please contact TurboTax customer service for further assistance:

That's correct. I did have a $13 dollar loss on one part of a sale. I added all the values together and entered the sum instead and that seemed to resolve the problem.

I am retired 19 years. I never had Employee Stock. Not possible with the US military. I have been using TTax for 30 years. My electronic TT tax return was rejected by the IRS.

I will try to resubmit using TTax.

I had no employee stock either. Did you sell any common stock at a loss? This would be on your 1099. If not, disregard. There was a report of a bug with this issue. I refiled and it worked.
