I am using the download version of TT deluxe. I am almost all the way through it but now I am stumped and need help that I haven't been able to get through the live community forum. I decided to pay the extra and use the Live Help but found out I couldn't since I have the downloaded version of TT Deluxe. I can only use live help if I am using the On-Line version. First of all, is there any way I can get personal help? Second, reading comments about the On-Line version, I see a lot of people are not getting their total refund due to "hidden" fees and bank charges. What is with this?

TTLive has been online only. However, you can certainly post your questions here, or, if it is more in-depth, you can also reach out to us directly using the Help Article here. This ensures you will get to the correct department as quickly as possible.
Depending on what program you select and any upgrades that are added on (to include Pay with My Refund) there may be some additional fees. These will be disclosed and you will have to accept them prior to completing your filing.
