ITIN to SSN update

@Prashant_Sharma

Did you have to send out a separate mail for ITIN rescinding  and as well as fill 2020 returns by mail??

ITIN to SSN update

Yes I sent the ITIN rescind/merge request in Oct 2020 as separate request.

ITIN to SSN update

Hi,

I'm getting the same issue here, did you get any help on how to resolve this issue?

I'm using the SSN instead of the ITIN, but now stuck with below error when e-file.

Spouse's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database.Reject Code IND-032-04

ITIN to SSN update

Use a zero for the spouses AGI that had an ITIN last year. If that doesn't work then you're only option will be the mail in the return this year. If you have not yet sent in the request to have the social security number and ITIN married then do so ASAP.

ITIN to SSN update

Thanks and Yes, the ITIN and SSN are merged and ITIN is now revoked. I'll give it a try to use 0 as AGI for last year.

ITIN to SSN update

I have filed the tax return in Feb 2021. Now after waiting for around 5 months it got approved.

ITIN to SSN update

Did anyone ever get a reply from the IRS with this issue?

I mailed my letter to rescind my ITIN and gave them my SSN in November and now it's March and I have no idea if they merged my accounts.
