Go the the 1099-INT area and start entering a 1099-INT form...when you select Vanguard as the source, and log in to the vanguard account there, you will be presented with all the various consolidated forms to download...and you just download all of them.
After downloading, if you have any 1099-INT with box 8 $$ in them, or any 1099_DIV with any box 11 in them, you will need to edit those forms after importing it, to indicate what state the exempt interest came from.. (usually just select "Multiple States" from the end of the states list....unless you are ready to do some off-computer calculations)
To import from your Vanguard account, please follow the steps below:
[NOTE: Customers have found that when they click on the Vanguard icon in the Select financial institutions section, it didn't give a choice of brokerage or mutual funds. However when they typed in Vanguard instead of clicking on the icon, they did get a choice and were able to select brokerage. ]
