Live Deluxe is the upgraded version of Deluxe that has live on-demand help from a CPA/EA tax expert during return preparation and a final review of your return prior to filing.   Live Deluxe is $90 for a  Federal return and $50 for a state return.  If you chose to pay the fees out of the  Federal refund, there is an additional $40 service fee ($45 for California filers) for that payment option.

 

Have you already paid and filed?   If not,  you may be able to remove something like that "pay out of refund" fee and then pay upfront with credit/debit card or a prepaid debit card you can buy in a store.   The FAQ provided in the comment above has a link that tells how to remove that option.

 

Unfortunately, it may not let you clear and start over and move to a lower edition if you already selected to pay by that "pay out of refund" method, but it should let you remove the $40 fee if you can change payment methods.

 

If you haven't already filed, you may be able to remove Live TurboTax if you got to that product by upgrading from regular Deluxe.  See this FAQ:

If you've already paid/filed and did not use any of the Live TurboTax features, you can phone TurboTax Support, tell them you ended up in Live TurboTax by mistake, didn't realize it till the end, and didn't use any of the Live features (if so).  I don't know what they will say/do, but can't hurt to try.   You used a paid edition, so you do have phone support.
