Thank you for confirming.  If all troubleshooting has failed, you will need to return the software to Costco for a refund/exchange.

In my case it seemed to be an iCloud sync issue. I restarted multiple times after uninstalling/reinstalling. Tried before/after update. What seemed to solve it was to use the file-open function within Turbo Tax which somehow triggered iCloud to sync and download the .tax2022 file. Once that occured TurboTax was able to open the file.

OMG--finding the file and clicking on "Open With" worked for me, too, after lots of heartache trying other things and trying to find out how to call TT!
