How are you entering the date?
Try backspacing through or deleting any spaces in the date field. Then try typing your date in DD/MM/YYYY format.
You may also see a box to the right of the cell, if you click on it, it is a calendar, and the date may be selected from it. (I don't recall seeing a built-in calendar, but a tax return can be a big world to navigate through.)
Still the same issue today (01/01/2023)
@gampae What exactly are you trying to do---why are you entering a date? If you are trying to e-file a 2021 return or an amended 2021 return, you cannot e-file it. It has to be filed by mail.
Same issue. Did you get it working?
@metom What "same issue" are you having in regard to entering a date? What are you trying to enter a date on?
Consent page. Says enter today's date MM/DD/YYYY. Will not accept 01/19/2023 - or any other date in any there format. Keeps saying "Not a Valid Date". I am programmer so it's not like I don't know what I'm doing
Well......today's date is January 20, 2023.....so try that. 01/20/2023
I am having the same problem. I tried from Chrome. Then from Safari. I double-checked the date to make sure I wasn't crazy. I turned off my VPN hoping that would make a difference. Spent time with two different people on Live Chat. I made sure there were no spaces and I entered the date (February 2, 2023) in the proper format 02/03/2023. No luck. Very frustrating. What is the solution to this issue?
I am having the same issue any luck figuring it out
We’re you able to figure this out I am having the same issue today
After carefully reviewing my customer screen who was having the same issue we came to the conclusion that it was her computers date and time that was wrong. After correcting it she was able to move forward with the correct date.
Yes. I am in Bali and 15 hours ahead. My computer said Feb 4 but it was still Feb 3 in USA. I logged back in later in the night when Bali and USA were on the same day. It worked!
My date was correct for Bali, Indonesia, where I am living. But it didn't match the correct date in the USA. Bali is 15 hours ahead of Washington state. I waited until later in the night when Bali and Seattle were on the same day and all proceeded without any more problems. Thank you.
