I recently got SSN for my kid. The portal doesnt have an option to update her ITIN no. How can I update her ITIN with her SSN?

To update, follow these steps:

With your federal tax return open:

1. On the left panel, click on My Info
2. In Personal info summary, click on Edit next to  your child whom you need to update the ITIN
3. Proceed till you see the screen that says Good news! xxx qualifies as your dependent. Continue to the next screen to update your child's SSN. Be careful, do NOT check the box below.
