I received unemployment and I paid into federal taxes but what do I do in this website is not easy

To enter unemployment compensation

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
• Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
• Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
• Under Unemployment
• On Unemployment and Paid Family Leave, click the start or update button

Or enter unemployment in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to unemployment

On the screen where you enter the amount of unemployment that you received, be sure to check the box that says "Federal or state income tax was withheld on this payment." It's just below the name of the state. Then on the next screen you will enter the amount of tax that was withheld, as shown on your 1099-G.

Looks like this year the withholding in on the same screen.  After you enter it you will get credit for the withholding on y our 1040 line 25b

Enter the amounts on your tax documents exactly as they appear.

TurboTax will do the rest. That's what you're paying for.

In some cases, there will be follow up questions for you to state what you did.

@VolvoGirl  Interesting. The screens are different in Online and CD/Download. Your screen shot is from Online Premier. In this year's (2020) CD/Download Premier you have to check a box on the first screen, and enter the withholding on the next screen, as I described above.
